So happy to share this new painting with you. I find using ‘just’ yellow in a piece quite daunting and thanks to hosting my colour class this month, I am also exploring and growing in new directions – there is always room for growth and I am finding this as I am working through the class content myself.
I really enjoyed creating this and it gave me alot of joy as I just let the brush intuitively glide around the paper. I love how the yellow blends with the orange and brown and some of the shapes that started to emerge. I think I’ll be creating a few more paintings in yellow.
