Tessellated Pavement reflecting the beautiful blue sky
Module 2 of “The Art and Business of Surface Pattern” started yesterday and I am excited to progress with some of the pattern concepts I started to work on a few months ago. Many of them inspired by the patterns, shapes and colors inspired from my travels earlier this year.
I love looking at photographs, so as I start to dive back in, I wanted to share a few I am constantly inspired by from my time in Tasmania in January this year. I love the natural lines we find in nature.
All the trees had these natural lines inscribed into them.
Reminded me of how we can create lines with a sewing machine.
Natural lines in a tree stump always catch my eye.
Wood taken to create steps to and from the beach.
Beautiful natural lines of a starfish, hanging out on the sand
