So of course our giveway is something lovely and red!
This month’s ONE LUCKY WINNER will be sent:

UPDATE
I am pleased to announce that comment #6 was randomly chosen. Congratulations Ritu!
I have dried and saved every rose my husband has ever given me. I think of him when I see roses. 🙂 Thanks for hosting this great giveaway!
I never felt like red was a color I liked until I reached this stage in life. Now I understand why it is such a powerful and beautiful color.
This is my first month as a part of this challenge and I am so excited – my birthday is this month and roses are my favorite flowers!!! Can’t wait to see all the great creations!
Roses remind mee of Valentine’s day.
I have always loved the color red. I have also dried and saved all the roses I have ever rec’d.

“My love is like a red, red rose
That’s newly sprung in June:
My love is like the melody
That’s sweetly played in tune.
How fair art thou, my bonnie lass,
So deep in love am I;
And I will love thee still, my dear,
Till all the seas gang dry.
Till all the seas gang dry, my dear,
And the rocks melt with the sun;
I will love thee still, my dear,
While the sands of life shall run.
And fare thee weel, my only love.
And fare thee weel awhile!
And I will come again, my love,
Though it were ten thousand mile.”
― Robert Burns
I just love this poem and it perfectly suits the theme!Would be back with my creation 🙂
Roses are lovely in my back yard there where some wild rose bushes growing. They grew there for years. Cut them back they would bloom even better and more beautiful in the spring. So lovely.
Red is my favorite color ever since I can remember. Red simply makes me happy and roses, well, my Gram and my Mom always had beautiful rose gardens so they remind me of love and family. Thanks for hosting a give away.
I would like to win this for a very close friend who is very artistic and loves red. I know this because she has red drapes in her home. She is very talented in interior decorating especially with combining color and I think that is why she loves red — because it pops!
The image of those dry rose petals remind me of walking through a pile of dry crunchy leaves that have fallen to the ground. It’s a lovely autumn thought. 😀
The colour red and roses both are ‘life-giving’ I believe. Throw the colour red into any mix and it comes alive! And to receive a red rose from a loved one would make my heart sing with joy !! (I imagine;)
