Being out in nature inspires me and brings me a sense of calm connectivity.
Congratulations Louise! What a fabulous way to mark your book being one year old! 🍾🍾🍾
I love being in nature, especially after a long day at work, surrounded by technology (I’m a software developer) – I find it soothing and relaxing. Congratulations on the one year anniversary, and thanks for a chance to win!
Being outside stills my left brain mind. Art does the same. Please enter me in the contest.
Thank you for the chances to win your special prizes. I have done mandalas before but have not done any botanical ones and not quite sure how to start them. I find mandalas so relaxing to work on and am always so impressed when they are done and I look at how beautiful they end up when I slowly and meditatively work on them little piece by little piece. It must be thrilling to have done your own books and spread your knowledge and passion with others.
Please enter me for the give away
Love your book so if I win the book, I will give it to a dear friend!
What an exciting possibility! And absolutely wonderful timing. Though I’ve been meditating for years, and Nature has been my atmosphere of choice since I can remember, I’m kind of new to the artistic expression world and your teaching is such a wonderful bridge that is just friendly enough to that busy left brain to allow its collaboration (and welcome) to the right brain’s crying out to be seen/heard using a subject near and dear to my heart. The mandala form allows me to sit with Nature long enough and thru repetition to actually feel into whatever the subject is. And your “you’ve got this” approach really is inspiring. Whether I win or not this gives me a great place to just thank you for what you do and bringing it into a world who can really use it NOW!
Thanks so much for a chance to take a class with you. THat’s what I’d love most. : )
First of all I love your accent! Second of all I’ve found so much joy and inspiration in your Botanical Mandala Book and third, I’m reading the “Nature Fix” which is inspiring me to spend more time in nature and considering how nature heals us. I am an Art therapist at a children’s hospital and run an Art therapy group in our healing garden. Mandalas are a big part of the work that I do for myself and with others. I devour any new ways to create mandalas. Thank you for all you do and bring to others!
Being in nature brings softness to my being. It makes me smile, shine, vibrate at a higher frequency. It makes me a better parent, wife, friend. I am a part of nature and I marvel at the beauty of it all.
I look at your mandalas and I see a beautiful way to bring nature home with me. Mandalas feel accessible – I think I can do that…. And I love how they express that which is within us, as well as being a connection to the world around us.
Hi Louise! Thank you so much for the great giveaway… Nature grounds me, helps me find my primordial breath, connects me with my heart. Mandalas are a meditative practice.. I find working in circle very healing and love to loose (find!) myself in patterns and colors. Thank you again so much!
What a fantastic prize. Such a beautiful book.
I love making mandalas-any type any material. I started making them in embroidery and in quilting. would love to win a giveaway from you.
Louise,
Your mandala’s are beautiful…. I started doing some myself after the passing of my sister in 2016…she died way to young with a terrible form of cancer. To ease my heart it gave comfort in creating mandalas from found nature near my house. Neighbors thought I was crazy not knowing what I was doing but I persevered every day with my mandala I felt she could see them and it was my way to show her wherever she was we were always thinking of her and is greatly missed. The mandala is very good for the soul…so glad you made it a reality for the world to enjoy and for people to realize that the creation of these nature inspired works of art is a positive journey to express love, gratitude and new beginnings.
Cheers ❤️🌸
Nature soothes away the worries and tensions I am not even aware I am carrying. As I walk in nature, I feel an unwinding of these tensions, and I begin to feel more connected to my Spirit and all of creation. I love mandalas! As I create them, I always receive insights into whatever is going on in my life in that moment.
Being in nature is like walking with God, when I collect leaves and listen to the songs of the birds my heart explodes. I haven’t tried mandalas before so would love to give it a go, and winning a class would be awesome, you can never stop learning and when I create the deepest corners of my soul are touched and I learn a little bit more about myself. Thank you so much for this generous give away. xo
I’ve been creating mandalas since Kathryn Costa’s 2018 Winter Solstice webinar I did the 100 Mandala Challenge the first 100 days of 2019, and I have continued creating the with each one of her monthly challenges as well. Kathryn “introduced” me to you and your gorgeous mandalas, and I am saving up to do a series with you. Love your work, and one day I hope to innovate the mandala universe with my own special approach to the art.
I’ve been creating mandalas since Kathryn Costa’s 2018 Winter Solstice webinar, and starting January 1, I continued my journey with the 100-day mandala challenge, which I completed on April 10, having created one mandala a day for 100 consecutive days. What an exciting journey it was. I have continued creating mandalas for Kathryn’s monthly challenges–I’m hooked! I discovered your work via Kathryn, and I love your very different and novel approach to creating mandalas. I look forward to taking your classes.
The combo of nature and mandalas are so inspiring! They are beautiful and calming!
Hi Louise, thank you for the opportunity to participate in the give away. Nature for me is like breathing. I love animals, trees, flowers etc more then anything. And i wouldn’t survive without. I thought about taking your mandala class. I think it might help me get thru some major life changes that I’m facing right now. Would be wonderful Iif I would be one of the winners. ♡
