Oh it's so pretty! My favorite flower is the Lilac. My grandmother's house, the place of my fondest memories had 10ft Lilac bushes around it on two sides. Anytime I smell Lilac it takes me right back to those summers at grandmas house. 🙂
My favorite flower is the Violet, the little ones that grow wild. They are so tiny and delicate.
what a gorgeous print! My favorite flowers are tulips…I just love their shape and how delicate, yet strong they appear.

Favorite Flower – that's a tough one. I'd have to say tulip – they signify springtime and bright, new things and I always have to have a few bunches in early spring. I also love lavender – the smell instantly relaxes me! Thanks for the chance to win!!
my favorite flower is the pansy, I like the colors, and it almost looks like a little face is peering back at you 🙂
I do love poppies, but my favourite is the stargazer lily!
Your artwork is gorgeous! What a fantastic giveaway!
I love purple lilacs. They remind me of my fifth wedding anniversary. My mother-in law died on that day. (yes, very sad) My husband was with her and I was home, very pregnant and very sick. I got a knock on the door and a beautiful bouquet of lilacs was waiting. But the sweetest part is that the delivery guy actually had FIVE huge bouquets of flowers, each with a little note from my husband for each of our years of marriage. Very sweet.
Favorite flower?? Poppies, roses, tulips, lilies, lilacs, hydrangeas. I love them all and would have an in-house florist like Sir Elton John if I could!!
Happy wonderfully fabulous weekend, dahling 🙂
Oh so many favourites, but if I have to choose ~ Daisy. I love its Latin name ~ Bellis perennis…it just curls around the tongue. I love how it closes its little face in the cold, dark or rain but stretches its whole self up to the sun in total joy. I love how it stays with us pretty much through the winter and I love love love that as a herb it is good for coughs and almost as good as arnica for bruises!
Thank you for this opportunity to share favourite flowers…I've enjoyed reading the comments and I think your blog rocks :~)
Great giveaway* (I live in the UK so I don't expect you to post over here….just wanted to write about daisies!)
I have always love tulips. I don't have a color preference…well maybe I do. I tend to like the white or pale pinkish ones. They were in my wedding bouquet. I think that they are beautiful in there simplicity. Very delicate and dainty.
Ok you asked a hard question. It depends on my mood what flower is my favorite. I love hydrengous(Did I spell that right)I love sunflowers. I love gerber daiseys. I could not name a favorite. I love them all.
this is absolutely wonderful. I love poppies. Actually I adore poppies. I would say they are my favorite… but I also really like Gardenias since they were my wedding flower!
With our short growing season here I purchase fresh flowers for more months than I can actually grow them and for that reason I have become a fan of whatever happens to be in the market at any given time. Fresh flowers (of any kind) are my life line to spring and summer and fall and winter!!! You're poppy painting is beautiful!
Hard to pick out a favourite! Sweet peas? they were Grandad's favourites and he grew them every year. I do love them. But I think Nasturtiums are my absolute favourites – such vibrant colour, such recklessly untidy stems, vivid green leaves … and you can eat them!
My Favorite flower is the Gardenia, not only do I love the smell but it reminds me of my mother in law whom I love dearly.
I love this painting Louise. Remembrance day is such a special day for us too.
My favourite flower is the gardenia. I love the smell firstly but also the buttery creamy look of the petals and the whole shape of them. Always brings back great memories from childhood
Lee:)
I love to think back to my grandmother's garden. I loved walking around with her, as she hand watered every plant. Maybe I liked the hollyhocks best. They were lanky and tall, like me. The buds were tight, and the flowers made pretty little skirts, when turned upside down. It was fun to open up the seed pods and discover the flat black seeds. Whenever I see an old fashioned garden, I think back to this time.
