My two favourite times of the day are just before sunrise and of course, sunset! When the sun sets here in Spain, there is an abundance of swift birds flying around, circling and basking in the golden peachy light from the sun. The birds are such a beautiful constant sound, that I now can time my day by them first thing in the morning and for the sunset in the evening. I love these birdies so much, that their evening song inspired me to create this mixed media piece. When I look at it, it reminds me of how it must feel to be that beautiful swift bird.
