Morocco Adventure Journal – a sneak peek

As promised in my Colour Stories post yesterday all about blue doors, here is a little sneak peek into a couple of my pages from my Morocco Journal.

I loved taking inspiration from the door photos from my trip and doing a few sketches in here to capture some of the gorgeous shapes and designs.

Here is the cover of the journal. We make this from scratch with April Meeker as part of the retreat program and then covered it with gorgeous papers and these ribbons from Amy Butler – yummy. I also added some pen work to it as well as one of the little messages I received in my coffee cup that morning which reads: “Your current safe boundaries were once unknown frontiers” – Anon

I gathered lots of rubbings and other bits in the journal whilst away so now am excited to continue adding from all the inspiration.

I plan to explore this subject more – so much inspiration in just blue doors!
