WOOHOO! What a glorious color. I enjoyed looking through the flickr pool so much today, so many absolutely amazing Turquoise combinations and what a gorgeous color this is to work in. Did everyone feel some calm and tranquility? I’m so inspired, are you?
I know many of you love this color, so did you find this an easier week? Anyone still find it a challenge? I loved adding some extra metalics to my piece below which is only 8×8 inches so I have this desire to make this into a much larger canvas, what do you think?
Yummy Mermaid colors!
For me this color was a challenge as first, yes, because of all the different shades of turquoise I found when I was looking for some paint. But after I had started I really loved it and eventually it all came together.
I love your 8×8 sized piece, it seems to be about perfect. The little metallic add ons make it whole.
your beautiful tree reminds me of a silver birch 🙂 i loved the challenge this week – especially the twist! it was still a challenge though because my piece started life as one thing and then had to be rescued before it turned into something completely different! it was really good fun and another learning curve, thank you. bursting for the next one now!!! xx
Hi Louise, I left a comment on the discussion area in flickr but perhaps here is better. I just wanted to thank you again for doing the colour challenge – I've just loved this turquoise week! And hoping that you have more ideas up your sleeve for us when it finishes…
I absolutely love this color! My living room is painted turquoise, reminds me of the ocean and tranquility. Thanks for choosing it!!
doh! i missed it this week. time flew away with an ill bub…. I may squeeze some turquoise out tomorrow, along with the new colour….
you have inspired me to do a 4 week photo challenge on my blog! Although I never posted a single photo on your flickr site – please know that it was GREAT to look for these colors out in the world and in my home. Beautiful idea. Thank you for sharing it.
