This months creative challenge has been a joy to start with! Inspiration from sunsets and the gorgeous warm palette of sunset skies in pinks, mauves, yellow and oranges.
This month i thought let’s liven things up a bit with some spiritual violet and complementary color yellow, with some green thrown in!
This month I decided to keep it simple with indigo in my color journal, so this is just one of the pages I created. I haven’t really used this color too much before, so am looking forward to exploring even more. I just used very basic acrylic paint, some rubber stamps and ink to see what i could create.
I love blueberries! I thought indigo would be a real challenge as I do struggle with finding indigo “things” as inspiration for color.
It is a color I love to have around me, but creating in ‘just green’ did feel a little daunting I have to admit!I decided to listen to my green color meditation to really get into the moment of creating in green, from the heart chakra and the above is what emerged. I love it, so simple.
There is nothing more satisfying that crunching on a fresh apple from my mums garden in the warm summer months. These are ones we picked last year and I couldn’t resist taking a photo of them and how fresh they looked.
OOOOOOH! Let’s bring some more sunshine in our lives with this vibrant yellow.
Oh YEAH! It’s back, lets color our lives with the monthly color challenge once more.
