100 Days of Mandalas – starts today!

Ahhh today I am embarking on a new project.

Rosalina Boyagiev who is one of my lovely Mixed Media Mandala class students said that because my class opened up something creative deep inside of her, she is going to focus on mandala making for her 100 day project. How wonderful is that? So I am going to join her on this 100 day project and revisit some of my favourite mixed media techniques from my class to create more mandala artwork for my own portfolio. Kathryn Costa is also running a 100Mandalas challenge so lots of places to share and create!

I feel like everyday is a birthday and today just happens to be my actual 42nd birthday. I feel like 42 is a special one {it represents life, the universe and everything} So thought today was a perfect day to start and with the full moon, even better!

I am also photographing new designs and processes for an upcoming publishing project (news on that soon!) so really want to immerse myself into Mixed Media Mandalas once again.
